Three Things

  1. I believe a short vacation session can create a beautiful variety of images when we use the time well. I know my Amsterdam routes, the light, the backgrounds, and how to work around the crowds, so we can make the most of every minute together.
  2. You don't need to know how to pose. I will give you clear direction when it helps, but I'm always looking for the moments in between: walking, laughing, looking at each other, and actually enjoying Amsterdam. I love combining those natural moments with the postcard image you came here for.
  3. Amsterdam is a city made for slowing down and looking around. During our walk, don't forget to look up at the canal houses and notice the details hidden around the city. After years of living and photographing here, I always have a little story or piece of Amsterdam history to share along the way.

More Information

Joanna is also available to travel for shoots in Haarlem, Utrecht and Keukenhof. These areas require a travel fee. Please note: Keukenhof requires an entrance fee and is only open from mid-March to mid-May.

Joanna requires an additional travel fee on the following route:

Zaanse Schans and Dutch countryside: 60 USD

We had a great timing taking photos with Joanna! We scheduled a last minute photoshoot to commemorate our son turning 6 months old in Amsterdam. She was accommodating with meeting us at a convenient location and taking breaks when needed since babies are on their own schedule. :) The photos came out beautifully — we’re so happy to have these memories! I wanted candid style shots and we got this in heaps! Also, I’m a big fan of the editing style. Overall, highly recommend.
