Meet Tamara in Cape Cod

Three Things

1. One of the things I love most about Cape Cod is that every town has its own personality. From picturesque harbors and charming coastal villages to sweeping beaches and dramatic dunes, there's an incredible variety of scenery throughout the region. I don't have one favorite spot because each location offers something different depending on the season, lighting, and atmosphere. What makes Cape Cod so special to me is that there's no single way to experience it. I enjoy discovering what makes each area unique and finding locations that genuinely reflect the personalities and vision of the couples I photograph.
2. Having spent summers on Cape Cod growing up, I have a few longtime favorites, particularly on the Outer Cape. Fanizzi's in Provincetown is a wonderful choice for waterfront dining, and The Lobster Pot and The Bookstore Restaurant in Wellfleet are also favorites of mine. That said, Cape Cod is made up of so many unique towns, each with its own wonderful dining experiences. I always encourage visitors to explore restaurants near where they're staying. Sometimes discovering a little local gem becomes one of the most memorable parts of a trip!
3. One experience I'd recommend is taking the time to explore the quieter side of Cape Cod. Beyond the beautiful beaches and popular attractions, there's something special about its charming coastal towns, winding roads, little harbors, and unexpected places you discover along the way. Each part of the Cape has its own personality, and I think some of the most memorable experiences come from slowing down and appreciating those differences. Whether it's watching the boats in a quiet harbor, discovering a small local shop, or enjoying a sunset by the water, sometimes the simplest moments are the ones that stay with you the longest.
