I am a passionate and creative individual with a love for people drawing inspiration from both my Midwestern roots and Hawaiian heritage to capture authentic and meaningful moments. My photography style blends natural light, candid moments, and artistic composition to capture genuine emotions and authentic interactions. Three Things
- Before I became a photographer, I worked as a Women's Recovery Coach for vulnerable teenagers and adults battling addictions. My mission was to empower and guide them towards healing, resilience, and a life filled with purpose and fulfillment. After photographing a few of my recovered client's weddings, I found a different avenue to continue to care for my community. I fell in love with shooting weddings when I witnessed the profound joy and love shared by couples on their special day. Capturing those fleeting moments of pure emotion and connection became not just a job, but a privilege and a passion.
- When I'm not taking photos I love spending time with my family, going surfing, practicing hula, bouldering at the gym, and cooking good food.
- I canoed down the entire Mississippi River in 2018. It took me 68 days and I camped on most nights.
