I am passionate about Kauai - the land, flowers, plants, history, and Hawaiian Culture. I am happy to share my knowledge of these things to help create an ethical and super fun experience for you while visiting our island. I am passionate about human connections, fun experiences, and vibrant colors above all else. I pride myself in making people feel comfortable, making posing feel easy, and providing stunning images that you will cherish and want to hang in your home for years to come.

Three Things

  1. I am currently a licensed and practicing Dental Hygienist alongside running my photography business. I enjoy helping people and teaching others how to create optimal health. I am total people person!
  2. I am originally from Southwest Colorado and LOVE hiking and being small in jaw-dropping areas. I have been respectfully living on Kauai since 2018 and I love people, laughing and socializing, hiking (I know I already said that haha), making lei, traveling, and Hawaiian culture. I dance Hula with Halau Hula O'Leilani and enjoy spending time with my husband and sweet little girl at the beach on a beautiful sunny day.
  3. I have a crazy obsession with pumpkin. I HAVE to have two to three cans of it in my cupboard or I feel like my life is missing a key element. When my daughter turned One, I made sure her cake smash was a homemade pumpkin pie and that there was plenty of canned pumpkin in the background. I love the pictures and I will always get made fun of for my obsession.

Absolutely perfect experience from start to finish! I have two little kids and she was so patient and helpful to get them to smile. Also as a mom of two she made sure that I posed in the most flattering ways, which was so helpful. All the photos turned out amazing! Definitely recommend booking Elana for your family photos.
