Hey! If you're into candid photos, you're in the right spot! My mission? Capturing those raw, authentic emotions that make your memories feel like they've caught the real you. My name is Marie-Christine but most people call me MC. I am originally from Quebec, I moved to Alberta to get closer to the mountains - outdoors is where I thrive, whether it's hiking, climbing, or exploring the backcountry.

Three Things

  1. I can’t help it, I take photos of everything I love, and capturing memories for others is just as meaningful to me. Whether I’m climbing, hiking, or exploring the Rockies, my camera is always with me - and I bring that same sense of adventure and passion to your photos!
  2. A photoshoot with me feels relaxed and natural - I’ll give you just enough direction to feel comfortable while leaving plenty of room for you to be yourselves. Expect a mix of wide landscapes that make you feel small, and close, intimate moments filled with laughter and tenderness with your loved one(s).
  3. If you have time for just one experience, I always recommend catching a sunrise or sunset at a quiet scenic spot in the mountains. The colours, the stillness, and the sheer scale of the Rockies are unforgettable - it’s the kind of moment that stays with you long after the trip ends. Let’s plan our shoot and experience that magic together!

More Information

MC is available for shoots in Canmore, Kananaskis, Banff and the Icefield Parkway. Some locations in BC (closer to Alberta) can be discussed with custom travel costs.

Marie-Christine requires additional travel fees on the following routes:

Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise: 200 USD

Emerald Lake: 200 USD

We are really happy that we booked our photo-shoot with Marie-Christine. She was very easy to keep in contact with ahead of the shoot, and kept us apprised of weather changes. She helped pick our location which we really liked, and she was so easy to work with on the shoot itself. It was laid back and fun and the time flew by and luckily the weather cleared. We love the pictures and glad we did this in Banff which is amazingly beautiful. All follow up questions were addressed quickly.

We love how our photos came out!! Marie-Christine had great direction, a vision, and was very patient with our 18 month old toddler that didn't cooperate the entire time. Would highly recommend if you are visiting the Banff or Calgary area.
