Meet Mankica in Ljubljana

We had a great photoshoot with Mankica! She was so friendly and was so great with our two young children. The pictures that she took of our family are ones that we will always cherish. Definitely recommend her if you are looking to get pictures taken in Ljubljana!

We booked Mankica for a family photo session during our trip to Ljubljana, and it exceeded every expectation. From the start, she had a clear sense of the most beautiful corners of the city — from the colorful old town facades along the river to a quiet cobblestone alley tucked away from the crowds. Every location felt intentional, not just pretty. What really set her apart was how naturally she worked with our boys. She wasn't just directing poses — she was playing with them, making them laugh, catching those genuine, unposed moments (the hug in front of the blue door, the two of them cracking up together on the stone bench) that end up being our favorite shots. She has a real gift for putting kids at ease so the joy comes through authentically instead of looking forced. She also doubled as a wonderful local guide, pointing us toward spots and details about Ljubljana we wouldn't have found on our own, which made the whole experience feel like more than just a photo shoot. The final gallery is honestly magical — it captures our family's actual personality and the happiness of that trip, not some generic template. These are photos we'll treasure forever. We absolutely love our photos from our session with Mankica! She was so flexible with us when our flights were delayed and we had to reschedule and she was phenomenal working with our jet legged toddler. I was worried that we may only get one or two usable photos (our daughter just wanted to be set down to run and didn’t really feel like participating) but I was blown away looking through our gallery! Mankica was amazing. We love the photos she took. She was so sweet with the kids and got amazing smiles (even from one grumpy seven year old :)). She knew great spots for photos and we got even more photos than we expected!

Mankica was the best! She was patient with our large group (including a few reluctant teenagers), and by the end of our session everyone was having a great time. Mankica gave great direction and also listened to what we wanted from the session. We ended up with some wonderful family photos and fantastic memories.
