Meet Rojeena in Maui

I specialize in family portraitures and fine art. The love of adventure, travel and culture has brought me to this beautiful island of Maui from my homeland of Kathmandu, Nepal. What excites me as an artist is the act of capturing a moment that’s gone forever. Coming from a family of photographers, I understand how important it is to live life to the fullest and relive those memories through photos.

    Favourite Place to Shoot: I love to shoot by the ocean, but also in a tropical rain forest. 

Three Things

  1. I love to swim in the ocean, dive, surf, stand-up paddle-board, discover new artists and practice yoga.
  2. I have always been interested in photography, as my father and grandparents were in the art of it. The best part growing up was watching my dad work in the dark room and bring negatives to positives!
  3. I always get compliments on how easy it is to talk to me. I love meeting new people and adventuring. I feel like you can learn from everyone, despite their cultural background, ethnicity and individuality.

Rojeena requires an additional travel fee for all bookings on Maui, which also covers the required photography permit fee. Rojeena is also available for bookings on Lanai island with a travel fee.

Rojeena was fantastic! We had a 30-minute family session in Maui with my husband, our two little kids, and my in-laws, and she made it so easy. She was patient with the kids, quick on her feet, and captured genuinely happy, natural moments instead of stiff poses. The photos turned out beautiful! Highly recommend her if you need a photographer who's great with families and kids!

Rojeena was absolutely wonderful to work with! On the day of our shoot, bad weather threatened our original location, but she proactively reached out and found us a backup spot that turned out even better than we could have imagined. She made the entire experience so easy and stress-free, and we are completely in love with how our photos turned out. Highly recommend!

This was our second shoot with Rojenna in Maui, and she is consistently amazing! She was great at directing us for where to go, how to place our hands, and when to fix our hair. Her easy going nature and kindness with our kids was evident in how relaxed they were during the shoot. Her photos mix elements of fun, candid and playful mixed with classic family portraits!
