Meet Doug in Paris
As an American photographer in France, I'm easy-going, love people, food, and wine. When not shooting, I'm cycling, dreaming of the Tour de France! I capture genuine moments and emotions, adapting my style to your personality. Whether energetic or camera-shy, I provide a calming, guiding presence. My diverse career includes award-winning photojournalism (AP, NYT), 3 years at Sports Illustrated, and published wedding photography. Yet, my greatest joy is seeing prints displayed in your homes.

Three Things
- I love spending time with my wife and our dog by having picnics and watching the world go by in this amazing city of Paris. I spent a few semesters in culinary school before moving to Paris so I also love cooking and going to amazing restaurants. And believe it or not, I'm more of a Swiftie than my wife :)
- A photoshoot with me feels very relaxed and fun. I can easily relate to all ages of children but am just as comfortable posing a couple with more modern and fashionable sensibilities.
- There are a few things I always recommend my clients to experience in Paris.... first a picnic in one the beautiful parks in Paris and watch the world go by. Then, the eclairs at Eclaire de Genie. I also think the free rooftop view from Galeries Lafayette is a must-see. And of course try all the pastries you can and remember they won't show up in photos after just a few days :)

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Doug was absolutely fantastic! He was professional, prompt, and so easy to work with. He guided us perfectly with posing and positioning, and knew exactly where to capture the best Eiffel Tower shots. He was especially amazing with our kids—patient, fun, and truly magical at getting natural smiles and beautiful moments. He even met us when we arrived early and took the time to get to know us. If you can book Doug through Flytographer, do it—you’ll be lucky to have him! We absolutely love our photos and couldn’t recommend him more!
