Meet Whitney in Portland, Oregon

I love a good cup of coffee, cacti, anything vintage, and coats. I definitely have an unhealthy obsession with coats. I am happiest when I'm outdoors, whether hiking, camping, skiing, running or sipping a delicious Northwest beer in the sunshine. I am over the top in love with our rescue dog, George and our three-legged rescue cat, Penny Lane. I'm addicted to travel and adventure. Discovering new surroundings inspires and motivates me. I spent several years working as a Photojournalist in New Zealand and in Ireland. This background has heavily influenced both my style and my love for candid, in-the-moment images that are full of emotion.

Three Things

I love traveling. Exploring new destinations is by far my favorite pastime. When I'm not able to travel a long distance, you can find me outdoors in the beautiful Northwest hiking, camping and skiing.
I can't live without my camera of course! It goes everywhere with me. (And I suppose my husband too!)
I have lived in 3 continents, including stints in Ireland, New Zealand, England and the United States.
