I am a Tokyo-based photographer specializing in couple, proposal, engagement and family photoshoots! I absolutely love getting to know my clients through my photoshoots and capturing beautiful photos during your stay. 😊 Whether it's your first photoshoot and need help posing or you have young and energetic children (or both!), I am here to make sure you get stunning photos in a relaxed environment.     Favourite Place to Shoot: Yurakucho, Tokyo, without a doubt! My favorite indoor drinking alley is located there, and it is amazing for photos (the drinks are great as well!).

Three Things

  1. I am an avid gamer and love a good story-based game. Currently playing through Pokémon Emerald on the GBA SP (ask me about my Pokémon game collection!)
  2. One thing I cannot live without - my wonderful girlfriend! She is my rock and number one supporter through it all. (We are HUGE Pokémon nerds and spend way too much on opening cards together)
  3. I have been doing professional photography since 2020 (originally from Maui, Hawaii!) and based in Tokyo since 2021. Kilakila was wonderful! Not only are the pictures he took beautiful, but he put my entire family at ease and we had a great time with him. By the end of the session, we felt like we had made a new friend in another country and he was texting us restaurant recommendations. We highly recommend him! He's super talented and an absolute joy to be around!

Our kids fell asleep 10 mins before our photoshoot. I was pretty bummed but kila improvised and they actually turned out great! He’s very friendly and easy to talk to and he can move quickly which helps a lot with grumpy kids! We highly recommend him if you have a family and want some stunning pics in Tokyo!

Kila is wonderful! He was so engaging with my daughter and, thus, able to capture some truly memorable candid photos of her and all of us as a family. Our cherry blossom photos at Shinjuku Gyoen Park are ethereal and exactly what I had hoped for; they have become some of our most treasured family photos. I would highly recommend Kila for your photography session in Tokyo!
