I am a photographer with a passion for meeting new people and telling their stories in an authentic, joyful, heartfelt way. I started my career as a journalist, so I love using scenery and expression to tell the story of the people I photograph. My work has been featured in numerous photography industry publications and in regional and national newspapers, including the New York Times.

Three Things

  1. I love to travel with my husband and three kids, as well as have photo adventures on my own. My favorite trips have been a family road trip up the California coast in an old Volkswagen camper van, and a trip to Cuba to study with photo-journaist Peter Turnley.
  2. One thing I can't live without is a sense of adventure.
  3. I once took a job with an airline just so I could fly standby to places like Buenos Aires and Rome. I was the one out on the runway with the wands directing pilots and climbing into the belly of the plane to load cargo. It gave me a whole new perspective on travel and was a pretty boss way to get free plane tickets.

Christina from Wilmington was amazing! Having never been to Wilmington before, I was worried about not finding the location. Christina provided clear instructions which put my mind at ease. She was incredibly welcoming to my family and easily interacted with my children to make them feel comfortable. She was a delight to interact with. She even gave us recommendations for a family friendly dinner. The day after the shoot, we received a picture postcard preview. Within three days, we received our pictures. I couldn’t believe the incredibly fast turn around. The photos were beautiful. The photos were a mix of staged and documentary style photos. We love them! Best souvenir ever! Thank you Christina. It truly was a pleasure to work with you. I recommend Christina to anyone that is traveling to Wilmington.

Christina was AMAZING! She helped my now fiance pick the perfect most romantic spot to ask me to marry him! She captured the moment perfectly and got so many photos of us being us! I love every single one!
